Sand and Sea Shawlette PDF Pattern

Included in the Coastal Knits collection, Sand and Sea is a light and lacy, crescent-shaped shawlette that drapes beautifully over your shoulders. Sand and Sea is knit from the top down in one piece. The curved shaping is created by the use of short rows.

MC: 1 skein Madelinetosh Prairie (100% Merino Wool; 840 yds / 768 m; 4 oz / 114 g) in Vintage Frame OR approx 250 yds / 225 m of lace weight yarn, such as Malabrigo Lace.
CC: 1 skein Handmaiden Sea Silk (70% Silk, 30% Seacell; 437 yds / 400 m; 3½ oz / 100 g) in Peridot OR approx 125 yds / 115 m of fingering weight yarn.
Alternate Yarn: Malabrigo Sock or Madelinetosh Tosh Sock.

GAUGE
24 sts and 36 rows = 4" / 10 cm in St st on US6 / 4 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
