Coastal Knits and Coastal Kids Bundle
This special 5 piece book and pattern bundle includes the following:
Coastal Knits - Knitwear designers Alana Dakos and Hannah Fettig are two friends living on opposite ends of the United States. They have come together to produce Coastal Knits, a compilation of ten fresh designs inspired by Alana's California and Hannah's Maine coastlines. Each design captures the essence of their favorite local destinations, and is accompanied by photographs and essays on the location's special meaning to the designer. It is a personal, inspiration-based collection of sweaters and accessories that knitters of all levels will appreciate.
Little Oak - Here is Little Oak, the tiny children's version of my original Gnarled Oak Cardigan. Although I love the adult version of this sweater, I think that I might love this tiny 6 month size even more! It is so sweet to see a miniature version. Although the original adult sweater was designed for women, I definitely think that the baby sizes could work for both a girl or a boy. Since this pattern is available in a wide range of sizes, big sister has a matching Little Oak of her very own!
Mini Water’s Edge - This mini version of the Water’s Edge Cardigan will be a sweet addition to any little girl’s wardrobe. It features a well-placed pleat, flared skirt and elbow-length sleeves. Short row shaping at the hem creates a slight curve, mimicking the shape of the shore line. A great piece for all seasons that can be dressed up or down!
Wee Wildflower - Meet Wee Wildflower. The pint-sized version of my original Wildflower Cardigan. The delicate details of this cardigan lend itself to a little girl’s size so well. I love how this little sweater looks on my daughter. It's lightweight and soft and just so perfect for a little springtime layer.
Tiny Rocky Coast - This is a tiny version of the popular Rocky Coast Cardigan. A smaller gauge than the original design lends itself well to the smaller sizes. This cardigan is worked from the top down in a classic cable pattern that's easy to memorize. The collar is picked up and worked last. Optional instructions for including a ribbon closure are provided.
